Hello Financial Healers,
Recently, we talked about the collapse of SVB. Now the news cycle is reeling from the failure of Credit Suisse, a global investment firm based in Switzerland. This bank’s flop has sent shockwaves through the financial sector, making analysts wonder, “Is this the end?”
According to experts, the banking system is okay… for now.
(But do we believe them?)
The best information I found on Credit Suisse’s collapse is from Chartr: 👇
Scared new world
With the current banking system failing (SVB, Suisse Credit), BRICS countries developing a new reserve currency, and inflation so high you could fly it like a kite, it’s easy to see why people don’t feel safe.
If you look here in the United States, most aren’t optimistic about the future. Numbers from a poll in 2022 highlight expectations for the next generation:👇
The summary is, “Americans have as little optimism as they have had at any time in nearly three decades about young people's chances of having greater material success in life than their parents… This marks an 18-percentage-point drop since June 2019 and is statistically tied with the previous low in 2011.”
In another poll, we see: 👇
Bottom line, Americans don’t feel hopeful in the near or distant future.
How do we react to this as Prosperous Souls?
We rise above the storm!
Jesus said, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33 NIV
Jesus promised we would experience difficulty. But since Jesus has all authority, we get to pull on His wisdom for supernatural strategies.
Remember my client who was struggling with debt? Turns out he has a massive windfall coming! We prayed for God to bring supernatural provision, and He did. A huge check is on its way to my client’s mailbox.
Such miracles are only possible with a loving God who is far above economic powers.
So…
We may have it rough now, but remember: Jesus lived during a period of intense persecution, while His nation was occupied by a foreign enemy—Rome.
If Jesus could stay hopeful during His time, we can certainly find peace in ours.
