Hello Financial Healers,
I recently discovered an innovative tool to help you track your spending. It’s called Erica, a virtual assistant from Bank of America, and it’s quite useful.
I accidentally stumbled upon Erica while I was scouring through the B of A app. I wasn’t sure if I liked it at first, but I now see that it’s very helpful.
Here’s the coolest part about the B of A app…
If you click on the Spend Path option in the insights menu, you can see an instant summary of your month’s spending.
This is so illuminating because it even compares your current outflows to last month’s expenditures. This helps you determine if you’re spending is above or below your personal average.
This is great because it gives you instant, raw data. You can easily discover if you’re spending too much, and make adjustments, if necessary.
Staying on budget
One of the hardest parts about honoring a budget is tracking progress. I’ve felt lost so many times while trying to follow a financial plan, and wondered, Is this budget even working?
Turns out it is.
If you’re with B of A, take the virtual assistant for a test drive. See if it helps you discipline your expenditures.
If you have a different bank, see if they offer a similar tool that can track and compare your spending averages.
It just might help you stay on budget…
… or make it a little bit easier.
God bless your Prosperous Soul,
