America the corrupt?
3 in 4 Americans say corruption is widespread in their government.

According to a Gallup poll, the United States isn’t doing too well in terms of government corruption. A recent email states:
With former President Donald Trump and the current president's son, Hunter Biden, both facing criminal charges, it's no surprise that three in four Americans say corruption is widespread in their government.
What’s even more shocking is how poorly the US compares to other OECD nations, which is a group of countries aimed at “foster[ing] prosperity, equality, opportunity and well-being for all.”
I personally find it hilarious (and sad) that certain countries pursuing equality are mired in corruption.
Fortunately, Jesus is still in charge, and He demonstrates how to succeed in difficult times. The Romans controlled Jesus’s homeland during His ministry, but He still stayed faithful and fulfilled His calling.
I pray we all prosper and prevail in our assignments as we navigate this season.
