Greetings Prosperous Souls,
Let’s dive into chapter 2: “Paradigm.”
Money is powerful. It creates opportunities, fulfills dreams, and can establish long-lasting wealth that can be passed down through generations.
But money can also corrupt, distort, and destroy.
Lord Acton, the English Catholic historian, famously wrote, “Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” Give an immature person power, and it leads to misery. Scripture warns us:
“When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan.” - Proverbs 29:2 ESV
Like all forms of power, money exaggerates whatever it touches.
Your mission, as a Prosperous Soul, is to make your heart so healthy, that when wealth arrives, it only amplifies righteousness and grace.
I believe this is possible for every follower of Christ to achieve, but few will accept the assignment.
Will you?
