Through hard work and lots of prayer, they managed to whittle these bills down to $9,082.48.

There’s this wonderful option that most hospitals offer: financial assistance. The application process is rigorous (lots of paperwork and 30 day deadlines), but if you do the work, it really helps.

If you’re struggling with medical debt, consider financial assistance. Most, if not all hospitals, have a customer service/billing department, who can provide information. Find their contact number and ask what options are available. I know it takes time and energy, but doing the work helps.
