ARE YOU WALKING WITH A FINANCIAL LIMP?
Last year a close family member hyperextended his knee during soccer. Thankfully, the injury didn’t require surgery, but it did take over six months to heal. During this time, the relative’s muscles atrophied and had to be re-strengthened through physical therapy.
In a similar way, financial injuries can cause our money muscles to shrink. Whether it’s debt, overspending, or an economic downturn, money wounds can leave lasting scars on our personal economy.
Perhaps the most devastating type of financial injury are money lies. Money lies are unhealthy beliefs we learn as children that affect how we steward our finances in adulthood. These beliefs influence every decision we make: how we give, when we save, when to start that new job. Until we realize the influence of a money lie, we won’t be able to identify and remove its presence.
If you’re limping financially, I recommend you strengthen your muscles through inner healing. Financial Sozo is one program I offer that helps individuals locate lies they believe and remove their influence. This ministry has freed many from destructive cycles, and I know it will help you too.
If you’ve sustained a financial injury and are not sure how to recover, check out my Prosperous Soul Foundations course.
