Greetings Prosperous Souls,
In 2021, Janet Yellen, the head of the U.S. Department of Treasury, predicted that “U.S. inflation would be transitory.”
Looking back, we can see how foolish this answer was.
To be fair, this was said months before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Still, our current inflation is largely self-inflicted.
However, blaming others is a sign of victimhood.
Our leaders (and voters) may be at fault, but so what? How do we fix it?
Figuring out how to protect ourselves now is key to securing Financial Health.
A recent Gallup poll shows that inflation is the top financial concern for Americans, with the cost of owning or renting a home coming in second.
I’ve spent my entire career diving into financial reports. Not because I love spreadsheets, but because I want to understand and interpret the numbers.
So, what do the numbers tell us? What should we do with this information?
Here’s my take: we are not victims.
This isn’t the time to blame others and stay frozen.
We need to keep building our net worth and strengthen ourselves.
By strengthen, I mean it’s time to be proactive. Our systems and institutions won’t protect us. So, it’s up to us to…
… live within our income.
… plant seeds for future growth.
… control spending.
… master our standard of living.
… build relationships to rely on.
… be the hero in our finances.
If you need help implementing these steps, I created a free Financial Health Assessment. It’s aimed at helping clients understand where they’re at financially, and provides specific recommendations for future growth.
After you fill this out, you can qualify for a free live interpretation webinar where I’ll dig into your numbers and recommend specific steps.
I hope to see some of you there. 😊
God bless your Prosperous Soul,
