Greetings Prosperous Souls,
During a lunch discussion with a couple from Argentina, I was hit with a profound question: “Argentina deals with poverty. What does America deal with?”
This query sparked a revelation: regardless of our geographic location, we all wrestle with the same enemy—the orphan spirit.
The orphan spirit, which I believe comes from the devil himself, lies at the root of all Financial Disease. It’s a force that no amount of money-skills can overcome. But, thankfully, we have relationship with the Holy Spirit to help us resist its influence.
Though the orphan spirit manifests itself differently across nations and people, its roots of self-hate and greed are the same.
In today’s lesson, we’ll dive into how the spirits of poverty and mammon are actually offsprings of orphanhood. This is important, because if we don’t understand our identity in Christ, we become susceptible to these ideologies. 👇
While poverty makes you feel stingy and afraid, mammon promotes entitlement and self-service.
At Prosperous Soul, our aim is to cultivate the reality of being a beloved child of God. This identity fosters a sense of belonging, acceptance, and security. It’s a truth that empowers us to fully live the life Christ envisioned for us.
When you break free from orphanhood, poverty, and mammon, not only does your financial situation improve, your spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being also experiences growth. Relationships, including marriages, will flourish.
Recognize this as you receive healing in the realm of finances. All other areas of your life will naturally follow suit.
