Open forum: Why did Jesus teach in parables?

Hello Financial Healers,

One of my subscribers brought up an interesting question: “Why did Jesus speak in parables?”

Considering that Christ’s objective was to guide humanity towards salvation, why didn’t He opt for more direct communication?

Even the disciples questioned Jesus’ strategy. In Matthew, they asked Him, “Why do You speak to [the people] in parables?”

Jesus responded with, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.”

This suggests that certain mysteries of God are only revealed to those who actively seek Him. Everyone may have the opportunity to discover the Lord’s wisdom, but few demonstrate the diligence required to attain it.

Paul underscores the importance of becoming a steward of Heaven’s mysteries in His first letter to the church of Corinth. He writes:

“This, then, is how you ought to regard us: as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the mysteries God has revealed.”

Paul’s words make me wonder… what are the mysteries of God waiting to be revealed? And what does becoming a trustworthy steward of them even look like?
