Greetings Prosperous Souls,
Thanksgiving is around the corner, so I’ll keep this email brief. Today, I want to reflect on what we’ve learned so far about Sabbath. How has rest shaped your journey?
Discovering Rest
Back when I was the CFO of Bethel Church and ran my own accounting firm, I discovered how crucial it was to sit back, relax, and take a break.
My non-stop 12 to 16-hour days proved that success doesn’t always mean making lots of money. Sometimes working too hard causes damage.
Sabbath: A Divine Invitation
Sabbath is not just a day off or an excuse to be lazy. It’s an intentional recalibration of our hearts and minds. It realigns us with God’s rhythm and guards us against toxic cycles of toil and self-reliance.
Sabbath reminds us that God is in control. Every dollar we make is a blessing from Him. So let’s keep that in mind while we spend this time with our families.
Don’t miss our live meeting this afternoon
If you want to meet and discuss your homework from last week, I’ll be live this afternoon at 3:30 PM (CA time). Were you able to take off any time to rest? If so, how did it go? You can find this week’s free handout here.
God bless your Prosperous Soul,
