Shifting atmospheres in your finances - part 1
Hello Financial Healers,
Did you know you can shift atmospheres in your finances? I’m sure you’ve heard Dawna’s teaching, Shifting Atmospheres, which focuses primarily on the spiritual realm. Money is spiritual as well, so her ideas fit nicely with today’s email.
Since money is spiritual, it’s possible for unclean spirits to attach to your thoughts and feelings about wealth. If you feel harassed financially… like no matter what you do, your money is consumed… you may be experiencing a demonic attack. If so, use these steps to break free: try prophetic acts, practice generosity, and close any open doors to sin in your life. My favorite idea from this list is generosity.
Generosity is a hell-crippling weapon. It’s a Biblical commandant that, admittedly, has been abused by ungodly leaders, but the principle remains pure. Consider this verse from the Old Testament:
Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need. I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of your soil, and your vine in the field shall not fail to bear, says the LORD of hosts. - Malachi 3:10-11 ESV
Let’s focus on two words in this passage: the devourer. What’s the devourer? Some translations include: pestilence, fire, sword, drought, and oppression. When we practice generosity, God rebukes drought, pestilence, and war (the effects of the Fall), and covers us with His wings.
If you’re not tithing, consider giving to your home church. If you’re not a part of a local church, find a person or charity to bless. Ask God where and what to contribute.
If you can’t afford to give, don’t go further into debt. Stay faithful on your debt-killing journey, and tithe when you can. Maui is still reeling from the fires, so there’s one place you can sow good seed. Even if you give $1, you’re practicing generosity.
God bless your Prosperous Soul,
