Hello Financial Healers,
My beautiful bride, Dawna, shared about shifting atmospheres in your finances back in August. It ended up being one of my most popular posts.

I asked Dawna to talk more about the subject, specifically how one breaks free from money-fears in marriage.
Studies show that money is one of most contentious areas in a relationship. There’s so much fear around the subject, it can feel impossible to be on the same page.
Differences in couples
In most marriages, each member carries a different level of tolerance toward money-risk. One spouse, for instance, might lean toward taking chances with investments. The other might want to play it safe and keep more money in the bank.
In our marriage, I’m more willing to take investment risks. Dawna leans toward saving, which allows us to budget for vacations and play dates with the grandkids.
Regardless of how different we are, Dawna and I strive to be on the same page. If Dawna is not feeling peace about a promising investment, I don’t make it. If I don’t feel good about her spending over a certain limit on vacation, Dawna pulls back.
So there you have it…
If you’re experiencing money-fears in your marriage, I pray God would increase your skill of communication. I declare God’s peace would invade your home, and help you get on the same page about important financial decisions.
God bless your Prosperous Soul,
